Kevin Grolig is a native of Montgomery County, Maryland.  Kevin has been a full-time Realtor for nearly 30 years and is a father of four adult children- Kristen, Ashley, Kelsey, and Jake.  Kevin is best known by his friends and clients for being incredibly genuine, funny and real.  He’s what you would call a real straight shooter.  While Kevin may not take himself too serious, he is a master of his craft.  Kevin constantly studies the real estate market in order to best counsel his clients so they may make good sound real estate choices.  Expressing his gratitude and desire to give back, Kevin contributes a percentage of each sale to The Aquilino Cancer Center in Rockville, MD.

Kevin and his team made a difficult situation easy!

I was appointed substitute trustee of my ex mother-in-laws trust in mid 2019 because none of my ex-in-laws could manage to sell her home and close out her trust during the 6 1/2 years since her death. I was introduced to Kevin thru the trust attorney and I knew during our first conference call that Kevin had the knowledge, experience, and enthusiasum I needed to get the home sold quickly and for the best price. Kevin is also very honest and realistic and he has tremendous integrity and an amazing work ethic and all of those attributes made a very difficult situation that was assigned to me much easier to navigate and accomplish. We had numerous items that we had to work thru due to the age of the property and the state of severe neglect and disrepair it was in. We had to insure the property, have all the utilities and systems turned on, checked and in operating order, landscaping done, junk removal, and cleaned as well as snake removal, mold remediation, and disclose a buried gasoline tank on the property. Kevin and also his team members kept me informed of all findings and all options for repair as soon as they were discovered and made available to him. And while doing all of this we had to follow the court order as to how the property could be listed and sold. This was no ordinary listing and sale but Kevin is the extraordinary agent who got it done. And got it done in 4 months where as my ex-in-laws couldn't get it done in 6 1/2 years. There are no words to express how highly I recommend Kevin and his entire team at Compass. Kevin Grolig was great to work with. He listed our house, generated a lot of viewings for our property, and produced multiple offers above asking price within a few days of going on the market. We were very pleased with the contract that we accepted and successfully closed about a month later.
