Well Lakeforest Mall is Closing. I’m sure everyone in the Montgomery County, MD area is a bit sad about it. Those of us who have lived in MoCo for any extended period of time likely have many great memories at Lakeforest Mall. It’s amazing it was in Business for 45 years! While this is a big loss for Gaithersburg, MD there will be redevelopment. In this video I go over the history of the Mall as well as what Future lies ahead for the location.
