If you are looking for close convenience with a variety of new upscale, shopping and dining, then north Bethesda may be perfect for you.
So before we jump into all the awesome things about north Bethesda, I’ve got a little secret to tell you that anybody who’s local to Montgomery county and over the age of 45 already knows growing up as a native in Montgomery County, Maryland. There actually was no such thing as North Bethesda, the area that we now call north Bethesda, it was Rockville around the early and mid-1980s. Both developers, home builders and new home buyers started adopting the name north Bethesda. This was an attempt to grab and lay claim to the more ritzy upscale name of Bethesda. We actually saw the exact same thing happen around the same time on the Western side of Gaithersburg, which they now call north Potomac.
So if you’re the type who’s into labels, you’ll definitely like to name north Bethesda. However, I think of that area mainly as Rockville. Okay, so let’s get past the whole debate over the name north Bethesda. There are really some pretty exciting things going on there right now. In 2021 North Bethesda has actually ranked the second-best place to live in all of Maryland by niche com. This was based on crime rates, public school, quality cost of living job opportunities and other amenities. This was compiled by using publicly available information such as census data, labour statistics, and other sources.
Let’s talk about everyone’s favourite entertainment, dining and nightlife. The new pike and rose section of north Bethesda is the new happening spot in all of Montgomery county pike. And the rose is a new urban community that consists of high-end retail, fine dining, as well as high-density housing. The location of pike and rose is right between route 3 55 old Georgetown road, Montrose Parkway and pros street. Once again at pike and rose there are many dining options, Pike and rose also has many high-end retailers and boutique-type stores.

Next, let’s talk about close-by employers. North Bethesda is in close proximity to many large employers both nationally and regionally, just north of north Bethesda in Rockville, you have places of employment like John’s Hopkins, Adventist, health FINRA, and the national cancer Institute.
Just south in Bethesda. You have many other options like Marriot international, post hotels, Lockheed Walter Reed, national military hospital, and the NIH beyond just the employment options in Bethesda and Rockville. Obviously, there are many more in Washington, DC and Northern Virginia.
