So today we’re gonna dive right into the 8 reasons why you should consider moving to Montgomery county. 

  1. Employment: Montgomery county is home to many major employers. Some of these employers include places like NIH, Walter Reed, Marriot International, Lockheed Martin, AstraZeneca, Hughes network systems, and More.
  2. Top-ranked school systems: The Montgomery County school system is ranked near the top, both state and nationwide. Here’s a quick fact for you. Montgomery County has four of the top five ranked high schools in all of Maryland as surveyed by us news. Additionally, we have two of the top 100 high schools nationwide. 
  3. Diversity in housing: In Montgomery county. We have a little bit of everything. We have urban towns close to Washington, DC like Bethesda, Chevy, chase and silver spring to more suburban areas like Rockville, and Gaithersburg. We also have rural areas with larger homes of state size and lots with rolling Hills. Some of these areas include places like Potomac Laytonsville Damascus and Darnestown. You also find many planned communities where you have everything from shop fine, dining retail and community school rules. Some of these areas include places like Kentlands crown park falls, Grove king farm pike and rose and park Potomac.
  4. Close proximity: Depending on where you are in Montgomery county, you could be as little as just minutes away from Washington DC. We are also local, approximately 45 minutes from Baltimore and one hour away from Annapolis and Chesapeake Bay.   5. Public transportation: The red line of the Metro rail is a convenient ride into DC for sighting and work. There’s also the Brunswick line of the marked train. The mark train starts in Martinsburg, West Virginia, and has 11 stops in Montgomery county on its final destination to union station in DC. 
  6. Fine dining nightlife and the arts: Now all of these things can be found in Montgomery county and of course, Washington DC. But one of the things that we are most famous for in Maryland is not necessarily fine dining. It’s our love of hard-shell blue crabs from the Chesapeake Bay. Believe it or not, eating these buggers is quite an art to learn more about this art. These include Rockland farms, wine Windridge vineyards and Sugarloaf mountain vineyard war, a DACA brewing company, elder pine brewing, silver branch brewing and the Brookville beer farm. There’s no question. We have plenty of libations in Montgomery County, Maryland. 
  7. Hospitals: Montgomery county is home to many of the nation, top hospitals and medical facilities. These include such places as NIH, Walter Reed, suburban hospital, part of the Johns Hopkins network at Venice shady Grove medical, holy cross, silver spring and Germantown campus MedStar Montgomery medical as well as children’s hospital in one Washington DC. 
  8. Three major airports: Montgomery county is located within 45 minutes of three major airports. You have Baltimore Washington international du international and Ronald Reagan national airport. So while I think you’re gonna love it here, getting in and out of Montgomery County is a breeze.
